What is the purpose of a psychic reading?
I have been offering psychic readings to clients for over six years now, and as a result, I’m beginning to see some threads, similarities and fascinating insights.
As I have been delivering them for a while, I’m reviewing what I have learnt so far and reflecting on the purpose of psychic readings further down.
PURPOSES OF A PSYCHIC READING:
Reasurrance: a psychic reading can reassure the client that they are on the right path. As we are social humans and not machines, we will have moments of doubt and being provided with external reassurance can sometimes offer a great sense of calm and motivation.
Feeling stuck: a psychic reading may be helpful for the client to become energetically unstuck. There are times when the storms in our minds are too big for us to handle, and we need someone else to be the light that guides us out, and that is ok. A reading can also be very healing as it can release stuck energies overall.
Reveal unexpected avenues: there may be times when we are too blinkered and only see one path when there are others to consider, and a psychic sitting can help reveal those. In other words, it can help the client to step beyond perceived limitations.
Evidence of the unseen world: a psychic reading can give you the evidence you need to believe that we are on a spiritual lesson and that there is more to life than what the five known senses can provide us, resulting in a more profound sense of purpose. For example, let’s say a psychic shares something no one else can know about you or accurate information about future events. Hopefully, resulting in a sense of calm.
Healing: a psychic reading can be incredibly healing because a psychic is closer to Spirit, which can influence the client in a healing way.
SOME FINER POINTS:
Regardless of what a psychic says, you must make your own decisions.
Patterns do change depending on your choices.
There is nothing to fear as the same force creates all.
CURRENT INSIGHTS
Some …
People don’t trust themselves.
People don’t trust their intuition.
People have low self-worth.
People do not believe they can cope with less favourable outcomes.
People don’t see their life as a journey of learning and growing.
People seek perfection when that does not exist.
People are afraid of making mistakes.
People are afraid of surrendering to the flow of their spiritual lessons.
People over-focus on what they want rather than what life is showing them.
People are fearful of taking even small risks.
People care a lot about what other people think.
People focus a lot on external rewards over internal satisfaction.
People do not like slowing down.
All I say above is very understandable as we live in an uncertain world where we are told not to trust ourselves, take risks or focus on internal satisfaction. With all of that said, it does not mean it cannot change, and the only one who can make that happen is you.
You have to choose to set aside time to connect with your inner Spirit, surrender to the flow and see what shows up as a result and follow that.
