The road to healing
To walk the path of healing is a choice only you can make for yourself. You can absolutely be supported by healers, guides, therapists, oracles and shamans. Even so, when you wake up in the morning, throughout your day, and before you go to bed in the evening, no one is going to hold you accountable but yourself.
There may be solicited and unsolicited feedback coming your way from various sources, yet you decide to act upon it. If it comes from sources you appreciate of course.
For me, the road to healing is coloured with love, compassion, and deeper understanding. On the road to healing, we become more aware of the words we use towards ourselves and other people. Moreover, we understand that any of the labels we use are most likely insufficient to describe ourselves and others.
A human is complex, and we can use labels for ease, convenience and efficiency, but most often, it will most likely be insufficient.
To heal means slowing down, listening to our mind, body and spirit profoundly and seeing others as many different stories and experiences.
Yes, this is slower and takes more energy, but if we want to create a more loving, kind and caring world, this is required of us.
To help you a little way on the journey, here is a guided calming body relaxation.
