Into the infinite inner meditative landscape
I have never done psychedelics myself, but I have many friends who have, and from listening to their stories, I can closely relate to some of their experiences and claimed benefits of taking them.
The type of meditation that I practice, in my experience, certainly can indeed induce psychedelic-like visual experiences without taking the substance itself and be incredibly powerful.
Through my meditation practice, I have experienced hundreds of shorter and longer psychedelic-type visual experiences that sometimes seem very earthly whilst other times seem very otherworldly; even so, they always have meaning and have been very beneficial for me to experience.
I realise this is not everyone’s cup of tea, but I believe these are brought forward from my Spirit guides as messages, and I have found them often very profound. For novices, I have to caveat this with the fact that sometimes imagination from the ego seeps through, and I/we have to be very careful of that. Otherwise, these experiences can very easily delude oneself with grandiosity.
The type of imagination one needs to allow to come through must come from Spirit and intuition and is unforced. Over time, and with a good teacher, you can tell the difference if you are honest with yourself.
I don’t interpret these experiences as escapism or dissociation, as some people might suggest. They are an essential part of how I move through life.
I feel that these visual experiences give me a sense of perspective, peace and a deeper spiritual understanding of why I am here now. Within the depths of the spiritual realm comes forward a deep knowing and reason behind all of my experiences.
These visual experiences expand my mind, open my mind and leave me feeling incredibly calm and cleansed. This type of meditation also improves my intuitive, psychic and clairvoyant abilities.
Via this meditative practice, visions from past lives can come through, providing small moments of in-depth healing, inspiration about the future, how to conduct myself and many other helpful benefits.
Most of the time these days, though, I experience a profound sense of calm by being held in the embrace of Spirit, which is more than enough.
Perhaps the most profound experience I had was when I felt like I was floating in space, looking down on the earth, and just seeing the sun breaking the crust of our dear Spaceship Earth. Whenever I reflect on my practice, that vision always stands out.
I feel that the guides placed the vision in my mind to remind me of how small we are compared to the vastness of the universe. Yet, at the same time, my earthly experience is essential as it does contribute to some of the lives that are going on right now.
We would not be here if not for a reason.
